cisco 設備預設無法使用副廠的gbic module
插上副廠的 gbic module 會出現以下錯誤訊息
*Mar  1 00:04:43.442: %GBIC_SECURITY_CRYPT-4-VN_DATA_CRC_ERROR: GBIC in port Gi0/48 has bad crc
*Mar  1 00:04:43.442: %PM-4-ERR_DISABLE: gbic-invalid error detected on Gi0/48, putting Gi0/48 in err-disable state

如果要使用非原廠的 gbic，請輸入以下指令

conf t 

貼上以下指令
service unsupported-transceiver

之後系統會溫馨提醒你一些事項...但可以略過
 Warning: When Cisco determines that a fault or defect can be traced to
the use of third-party transceivers installed by a customer or reseller,
then, at Cisco's discretion, Cisco may withhold support under warranty or
a Cisco support program. In the course of providing support for a Cisco
networking product Cisco may require that the end user install Cisco
transceivers if Cisco determines that removing third-party parts will
assist Cisco in diagnosing the cause of a support issue.
