剛剛試用 vmware esxi 6.5u2
如果是FreeBSD 的 guest os 已經無法用之前的方式安裝 vmtools
系統已經沒有內建這個 iso 檔

取而代之的是要自行安裝 open-vm-tools
https://github.com/vmware/open-vm-tools

參考安裝方式
git clone https://github.com/vmware/open-vm-tools.git

./configure --without-kernel-modules --without-x --without-icu
make && make install

vi /etc/rc.local
/usr/local/bin/vmtoolsd &

BTW.
一定要安裝 /usr/ports/net/libdnet
不然即便參數有下 --without-dnet ,make 的時候也會出錯
